Tom Sawyer’s Fence

Over next couple weeks, I will be posting some pics, as well as the normal posts, on this site. These are pics from my 3 week trip in August. This is from Hannibal, Missouri which is the town made famous by Mark Twain and his book “Tom Sawyer” and “Huckleberry Finn”. The sign in the pic pretty much says it all.

      Yes, Twain lived in Hannibal as a boy. Those two books were based on his experiences there. You can still view his boyhood home, where his father worked etc. Nice little town.
